That was a spiderman grab for sure
Well, this is a heck of a lot closer than last night! Magpies 38-37
Say what you want about Harten and her past performances but this season I think has been one of her most composed and level headed yet. I’m loving her game today.
There are so many twists and turns in this game! Now Giants have put the foot down with three late super shots and the crowd’s getting right into it.
Looks to be a scoring end giving slight advantage, especially calls around the circle edge.
Really good fight back from Magpies, then three
stupidsuper shots from Giants undoes all their good work and Giants get the lead.As a kiwi I love that our competition is just traditional netball 🙂
A mid range shot that all shooters should be able to score with ease, should not be worth double. I swear the Fast5 two point zone is a lot smaller.
3/4 time: Giants 43-39
Harten 32/35
Dwyer 6/11Nelson 33/34
Garbin 6/6This match was developing into a goal-for-goal contest, then suddenly BANG – 3 super shots puts Giants up by 4. The team going to Magpies end has won each Q so far. Will it continue?
Yes, the Fast5 zone is smaller. It really should be harder to score them.
Maddie Hay has been terrific. 16 assists, 3 gains and the only attacking player on court without a turnover to her name. Giants 47-44
Julie Fitz always looks worried! But Giants are surging now. Up by 7.
Magpies have stuck solid to their plan and not gone for super shots so far. They may have to now. Giants 52-46
You are right Ian, Sinclair on and she scores their first 2 pointer of the game.
And that is what happens. Gabby Sinclair enters the game, misses her first opportunity, but nails a super shot soon after. Giants 52-48. Now we wait to see giants’ tactics. You’d assume they will play the ball around and go for one.
