My comment about Bruce’s Caution…..I know….i couldn’t believe she did that when they were so far ahead….’seriously’ was directed at her lack of self control, not the umpires.

Where’s that poster who says Fever are more than Fowler? Even Glasgow admitted to her game play today was to be a feeder….not how she’s played most of this year.

As a Vixens fan part of my is weirdly content at the result. Samason looked wonderful. Vixens got a serious kick up their bum and can throw all their entitlement crap out the window. Go back now and work bloody hard.

Oh dear. Some sore losers on here. Disappointing.

Why get personal at the opposition when your team were clearly outplayed. Aside from @Tully keeping it classy, the jibes at the superior team are pretty low.

Did Fowler score all the fever points, except 3 of them.

Tully, I agree. Vixens we’re crap tonight. They deserved to lose. But I don’t think there was any entitlement, just disappointment at the timing of NA’s decision and that it could have impacted on them, especially their families and fans getting to see them play a home GF after 2020 if they won tonight.

West Coast Fever – where GAs go to kill their career.

Glasgow, like all the previous GAs before her, has become a second WA.

And the argument about Fowler. It’s exhausting.

Swifts couldn’t back up their season without Wallace, imagine Firebirds without Bueta, Giants without Harten, Tbirds without Sterling. Every team has an absolutely key player. I think fever would struggle without Bruce – we’ve seen in the past 2 weeks the different Anstiss has made

Congrats to the Fever – I haven’t watched the whole game yet, just the first half and the last five mins, but they played so well and really deserved the win. Was really impressed with Fowler standing up to the pressure. I’m not generally a huge fan of her, but when you see how she plays compared to her ANZ days or in comparison to Nweke, the work she’s put in is very evident – even her improvement from last year against the Giants in finals to this year.

Those stats really tell the story- Fever significantly better in all of them. Whether you love them or hate them, you’ve got to admit that Fever really learnt from their previous 2 losses to the Vixens. They improved in all areas of the court.

Come on guys, settle down. Fever way too good and deserved their victory. Don’t think Vixens fans should have any complaints.

@CB98 yes Fowler does have court craft, if she was a shorter shooter say 6.2ft or so like normal taller shorters shed still be able to play at a decent level, just the continually lobs in do get stagnant to watch.

Yep….agree Stoj. MJ shut down, Watson shut down……and too many mistakes. MJ picking up the ball for a replay when Watson was right there for back up was indicative of the errors. They stopped Glasgow shooting but not feeding, Weston is usually better than that.

All those having a go at Glasgow for being just a feeder – did you watch last week’s game against Tbirds? With Sterling an Wilson double-teaming Fowler (and did a fantastic job at restricting her access to ball) Glasgow stepped up and scored 18 goals including 6/7 supershots. If the easy goal is via Fowler, why wouldn’t you get the ball to her? Vixens most likely realised they couldn’t simply double-team Fowler as Glasgow would make them pay.
