Giants up by 3 as Samason comes back on for the power play. Now a turnover against Giants!

Why didn’t Vixens use Ruby this way throughout the entire match to rest Samason? Poor coaching.

It’s so loud out there! Giants 52-50 with under 4 minutes left!

Samason ties it up. Now a call against Harten. Vixens hit the front!

There is a very quick 3 sec on the left hand end of court.

Kumwenda has it in shooting range and throws it straight to Parmenter

How did Vixens do that?!? I’m a Vixens fan but not actually sure they deserved to come back and win that

So happy Ruby got a chance to get on. Shame she didn’t put up a shot but she is such a good play maker and really brought MJ into it. Really should have played more short bursts like that across the game.

Austin should be out of isolation around Thursday or Friday. Will be interesting to see how she recovers but they can tag team her with Samason next week.

Amazing finish, Mannix was pretty quiet all game, but becomes the hero at the end with that last intercept.

                          Vixens win!

Kumwenda scored with just 4 seconds on the clock for Giants. They got the ball to Dwyer who landed a super shot but it was deemed too late. Vixens hold on in an amazing finish. Feel for the Giants. They put everything into that game, but it’s Vixens who are off to Perth.

Eddy is such an underrated player. Hay had 0 goal assists and just two feeds in the final quarter. Doesn’t get big stats but is so key to Vixens defence.

So Kumwenda scores with 7 seconds left, ball bounces out of court. Any other game the umpires call time until the next centre pass. Giants were totally ripped off in that last 7 seconds.

Yes, they coughed up a ?9 point lead but that inconsistency from the umpires was shocking. They always call for time to be held, even if it’s only 2 or 3 seconds.

What a topsy-turvy game. There was not a single close quarter. First, one team was dominant, then the other. It was Vixens’ turn to dominate in the last Q. They won it by 10 which was just what they needed to do to win the game. By the way, Giants had 7 more super shots.

Barkmeyer should be really pleased with herself for that game. She was the difference in the comeback. Didn’t put up a shot but set up MJ time and time again, made second and third efforts, and was a reliable pair of hands.
