Has Australia changed their daylight saving times back yet for the winter period? Working out if we are 3 or 2 in front.

They change at the same time as NZ… the first Sunday in April, so next week.

I’m watching the centre circle show on Fox Sports. Don’t think I’m 100% agreeing with the panel that a move for the umpires to call players by their first name is a good thing, so I’ll be interested to see how it goes

Yes that’s the game I watched on Thursday evening Amandalouise. Couldn’t remember its name.

Its going to be interesting to see how Spark Sport handles this – we had the commentators talking then I assume that Australian advertising came on because ‘Spark Sport we will be back shortly’ came up on a black background and we sit and wait to resume the broadcast.

Oh wow Dwan wide open there and completely overlooked.

Potgieter passes out twice (from good 1pt position) but pays off as Dwan sinks the super shot (and again after that).

A real shame to see empty seats in those first 2 rows, probably membership seats. Hopefully that gets better as the season progresses.

So nice to see the game. Dwan showing why she was recruited. From 12-9 down the Thunderbirds are up 17-12 at 1/4 time.

                                1/4 time: T’birds 16-13

                                Potgieter 9/10
                                Dwan 5/5

                                Nelson 12/14
                                Garbin 1/1

Good start. A bit scrappy with 14 turnovers so far. But it’s just a good competitive tussle.

The Tbirds attack with Georgie Horjus at WA and Tippah Dwan at GA has been impressive.

Maggie Lind a little bit shaky for Collingwood.

Very glad that Madi Browne is commentating. She brings actual depth to the conversation and isn’t afraid to oppose the other commentator’s views (I can’t recall his name)
