I’ll admit I had this one pencilled in as a loss for the Vixens, coming off a tough away game in Sydney only three days ago and then a long flight to Perth. Very pleased.

How ’bout these numbers. Liz Watson 31 assists, 53 feeds, 2 gains, and 6 pickups.

Someone needs to remind Lewis that “out-of-play” means taking no part in play; not talking or directing play.

For the second time this year, Vixens have restricted Fowler to under 50 goals, and her former teammate Olivia Lewis has played a big part in doing that.

Despite complaining about having to pay to watch the SSN in NZ I am glad I did it. Another great contest well won by the Vixens tonight who came out at a roaring pace.

Someone needs to remind Sargeant to shut up on occasion. Fever scoring off their own Centre pass …with Fowler ….and Glasgow during Super Shot.. really Sargeant?

or at least give credit where it’s due…..withstanding the pressure ….

That game has to be huge for Mundy’s confidence. So much court time last year but not a lot of wins. Full games against TBirds and Fever for two wins and the crucial half against Firebirds.

Lovely to see Lewis play so well against Fever again.

Watson is an absolute machine. League of her own.

I’m really looking forward to Rd 14 Vixens vs Magpies (Lewis vs Nelson).

I’ve always liked Watson at C. She was amazing to watch live. She was definitely everywhere. Her defensive skills is so strong, and combined with Moloney was intense.
Vixens timing on attack was on point, Fever defence looked all over the place. Though I thought Stacey Francis was extremely solid. Moving her into the circle was a good move.

I still can’t get over, Dan didn’t make a change in the first qtr. I was sitting there thinking, WTF are you waiting for? That change should have came when they were down 8-1.

Fevers strongest 7 is with Pitman on the court. If they want to win it this year, Dan has to find a way to get her into the 10. Her and Fowler have a natural connection. If she wasn’t there today, they would have lost by way more IMO.
