Wonder who the second choice C is for fever. Looks like Cransberg will get the start. Next option we’d be looking at Pitman/Cosh and perhaps ATN
Possibly Pitman at C. She can play there but much better at WA.
Can someone please confirm that I’m reading things right. Today’s games are at 6pm and 8pm?
They’re usually at 5pm and 7pm on a Saturday- and Kayo app has the pre-game listed as starting at 4:30.
Sharni was on ABC Melbourne Drive late yesterday afternoon. She was talking about men’s sport.
I texted the host, Raf, and asked him to ask Sharni to talk about netty, and especially Vixens being on top of the ladder. He obliged me! He asked Sharni if she thought Vixens would win the flag. Sharni said while Vixens had beaten the other contender, Fever (she didn’t say TWICE!!), Vixens had been beaten by teams that had been beaten by Fever so it was wide open.
Thanks Raf!
I’ve had a look on social media and Collingwood says their game is at 6pm, and Fever says their game is at 6pm (8pm AEST). So it looks like that’s when they are. Strange that it’s different from every other week.
Yep. Confirmation it’s definitely 6pm & 8pm.
Magpies:
GS Nelson
GA Garbin
WA Browne
C Jovic
WD Brazill
GD Ward
GK MentorGS Housby
GA Singleton
WA Hadley
C Proud
WD Fraser
GD Turner
GK KlauUMPIRES: Tamara Welsford and Tayla Favell
Swifts with an early lead here. A couple of costly turnovers against Collingwood. Swifts up 9-4 as we go to a timeout.
Well, that timeout worked for Magpies and they reduced the lead to just one, at which point, Briony Akle decided to call a timeout as well. So Swifts up 9-8 as we approach super shot time.
Wow, this has developed into a real scrappy, tight encounter. Swifts up 13-11.
1/4 time: Swifts 15-12
Nelson 11/11
Garbin 1/1Housby 10/14
Singleton 5/7Swifts just on top. Both sides’ defences working well, but Magpies with too many errors. Their superior shooting % keeping them in touch. Maddy Proud is everywhere. Again.
Unfortunately, Kelly Singleton is not having a happy time out there, with four turnovers. This has seen Magpies level things up at 19-19
