So do we assume that Anstiss has something like a stress fracture in her foot?

I heard that Samason was out for the season. I don’t know why the Vixens keep naming her and then ruling her out, this is the second time they’ve done that now.

Mi Mi playing very well so far, taking some rather optimistic passes and applying great defensive pressure. RBD also showing why she was elevated and loving the play of both Dwyer and Wallam, Diamonds shooting circle is really in good hands for the future.

                    1/4 time: Giants 19-17

                    Wallam 10/11
                    Bueta 6/6

                    Harten 7/9
                    Dwyer 9/9

A cracker of a game. Certainly some mistakes, but it’s a fast-paced game, all action. Giants in front, by virtue of 3 super shots to 1, but it’s been an even contest so far.

Sophie Dwyer is just putting on a show out here. So impressive. But now a turnover and two impressive Firebirds goals. Giants lead 29-25

                          Geitz sounds unwell, very croaky.

A timeout with 16 seconds to go- really? Haven’t they planned for this at training?

                                1/2 time: Giants 34-33

                                Wallam 21/22
                                Bueta 11/12

                                Harten 16/21
                                Dwyer 14/14

Giants edge ahead thanks to a Harten super shot. Kim Ravaillion went off with an injury to her foot/ankle in that Q. Hopefully she’s okay. Will be interesting to see if she can play the 2nd half.
