Wow. A call goes against Tbirds when in attack and Swifts run down the clock to escape with the win 45-44. Phew. What a crazy game!
Will this be an 8th year we don’t make it to finals? I think the answer is unfortunately yes.
Sorry but since when is Maddy Turner taller than Sharni Norder??? Mind blown.
T’birds aren’t GO…..why oh why didn’t they go for two instead of one…
Not sure either team deserved to win that. Neither team looked like winners.
In this case MVP should have gone to Sterling or Wilson despite the loss. It doesn’t have to go to a player from the winning side of they don’t have the best player on the court.
nooooo…..thought it would have at least been a draw
Turner player of the match…
So Obst can only blame herself for that – why did she take both Horjus and Wilson off for that last quarter, only bringing them back when the score started to blow out. Hard on the Thunderbirds players. With Horjus off there was one shooter who played pretty badly and the other who will only shoot from close in. Replacing Wilson with a slower defender just amplified the Swifts chances.
Such a scrappy game but I’m not sure any of this weekend games have been pretty watches! Is it too late to ask Jane Woodlands-Thompson to come back??? 😅
Potgeiter has an atrocious attitude…
@Netballcrazy – that would be the umpire on the right? That was the end where the calls were pretty average, actually a lot below par.
Guys, is there a way to put in a complaint about Obst 😅. Surely it’s not just netball minds who can see she is atrocious.
Incredible. That is now two games in the space of three days that Thunderbirds have lost by just one goal despite being successful with more shots than their opponents. The super shots have defeated them both times.
