    Wow, that was a wild pass from Bruce. And Dwyer punishes with a super shot. Giants up by 4 at the first break.

    Loving Francis-Batman on Hay. The defence could be tighter on Dwyer… she seems to have a lot of space to roam…

    This is great work by Giants. They’ve effectively taken Courtney Bruce out of the equation so far. Her only stats are 2 penalties and a turnover! Giants lead 28-22

    I think Bruce has taken herself out of the contest. Dan Ryan is telling her to get on her player and yet we are seeing her float off with her back to the ball?

    ATN with a super shot right on halftime. Giants take a 38-33 lead to the main break. They’ve been in control for most of the game. To beat Fever, teams need to play controlled netball and give up fewer turnovers, and that’s just what Giants have done so far.

    Okay, who comes out on top from here? Without Glasgow & Anstiss, there’s less opportunity for Dan Ryan to mix things up.

    I’d like to see Simmons on at wa. If that doesn’t work, Pitman at wa. Everyone else is on the cusp. Francis bayman doing enough, Courtney and Aryang so close and just need to keep in it…

    The introduction of Pitman worked wonders. 7 assists in that Q (ATN had 13!) But more importantly, there were just 2 Fever turnovers compared to 6 from Giants. Fever with all the momentum.

    I love watching Pitman, so glad she’s getting opportunities.
