Saturday:
Firebirds v Swifts
Thunderbirds v FeverSunday:
Lightning v Giants
Vixens v MagpiesVixens will be without Eddy, Mundy and Samason
I wonder if a message has been sent out to Chelsea Pitman? That would be a great midcourt for them.
Feve said in an interview that it’s been hard getting Anstiss and Glasgow ready and fit for the game in time and I know it was tough and go whether they’d fly with the team. I reckon Fever will keep Pitman close by! Also, I think if she’s played for giants and fever now as a reserve then she can only go to those clubs? Did I understand that correctly?
I think she can play for one more club. But I could be wrong.
Fever play today, and Vixens play tomorrow. It wouldn’t be impossible to get her over to Melbourne in time for the game. But that could be quite taxing on her, and may not perform at her best. It could work against them or for them, who knows 🤷♂️
I’d be surprised if Vixens would promote anyone but their pathways athletes unless they were really desperate. Or at the most, get someone from Collingwood given there’s already been a couple Vixens TPs help them out.
One of the rules is you can’t be used when the opposition is your own team.

Aah yes sorry, I forgot who they were playing this week.
Will be interesting to see how Klau vs Wallam goes today.
We’re locked up at 10-10 as we go into the Power 5.
Currently the Vixens do not need to borrow any other team’s TPs. They have named 3 of their own, Barkmeyer, Cransberg and Lambden. Coffey is their other nominated athlete. They have two further TPs and Vixens academy.
So many turnovers!
