Why doesn’t Julie F give some of the bench a decent run for the final quarter?

@schmeetle I was coming to say exactly the same thing – she cried a river when covid hit because her benchies didn’t have experience – and now she has a bloody good opportunity to she still doesn’t – very poor coaching ethic

Really would love to know what Wood said to Harten. Giants are physical but they always are and this is not their most physical performance by any means.

Agree with the comments about Fitzgerald and not using her bench. Give Letherbarrow a go. You are 23 ahead!

2 minutes for Letherbarrow. 2 whole minutes.

Koenan has been sorely missed for this game.

Full time. Giants run out 28 goal winners as Lightning concedes 82 goals for the 3rd time this year.

They showed it again…looked like Price pushed her in the back hard enough Cassidy fell forward then Price’s elbow connected with Cassidy’s head on the way down.

She’s on the bench and very unhappy.

Price barges through Bacheledor on the way back to the centre circle.

Leatherbarrow finally on court and does a swisher 2 point shot.

Gosh, Kadie-Ann Dehaney 33.5 NNPs and not on court for very long..keep her on more.

Brantley MVP….Dwyer must have been close.

No time for any wrap up, off to game 2. Very annoying. Will said they’re coming back to wrap up after the ads but the stream stopped….watching on Kayo….on netball ‘channel’ it says a rugby game is up next.

Kayo is pretty good, I like I can ‘watch from start’ not just ‘from live’ so I can wait a while to begin watching and miss some ads…but a bit glitchy.

Apparently Wood misheard something Harten said. Thought it was a disrespectful comment to ALJ but Harten said it was directed at Parmenter.

Didn’t see much in the Price – Cassidy clash. Price had her arms raised and Cassidy lifted her head which unfortunately made contact with Price’s elbow. Was unfortunate.

To Vixens – Collingwood. Vixens are understrength. But they have had two TPs in the Collingwood camp this season did they pick up any inside information they can use? Lewis needs to play as she did against Fowler for Vixens to have any chance.
