Without the 2 point shots, the score would be 30 – 21. Swifts need to watch out.
The commentators said Klau is number 2 for penalties. Negative stats like penalties and GPTs aren’t on the SSN site. Where are they?Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:02 pmPost count: 15065
This is probably the best that Paige Hadley has played all year. And the combination with Proud is working well. Swifts up by 5 as we go to a timeout.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:06 pmPost count: 15065
April Brandley is almost singlehandedly lifting the Giants in this quarter. The lead is back to 4. now 3.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:11 pmPost count: 15065
Jo Harten with 2 super shots in a row. swifts up by 3 approaching 3/4 time.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:17 pmPost count: 15065
3/4 time: Swifts 42-37
Giants lifted and put everything into that Q, but still only won it by 1. In any case, they’re certainly within striking distance as we go into the last 15 minutes. Is there a big finish coming up?JRParticipantMay 8, 2022 at 5:18 pmPost count: 1373
Parmenter seems to be negating Proud much more than Price did; tho’ Proud has lots of NNPs that quarter. surprising given Price’s background as a WD.
At 3/4 time, Swifts would be up by 9 or 10 without 2 point shots……not sure if Singleton got one or not.

Hadley off with blood. Cut over her eyebrow. Hopefully she doesn’t have any concussion issues.
Swifts have moved Fraser to WA and Smith to WD. Smith has come on with crazy energy. Great intercept then a huge over throw.
Price back at C. Parmenter’s feeding had gone off the boil so that change needed to come. Surely Parmenter will be back in at WD …Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:24 pmPost count: 15065
All of a sudden the ball is flying around everywhere. So frantic. But at this stage, Swifts are weathering the storm from Giants and maintaining their lead. Swifts 47-39TullyParticipantMay 8, 2022 at 5:24 pmPost count: 1309
Amongst everything happening Swifts are now out by 9!TullyParticipantMay 8, 2022 at 5:31 pmPost count: 1309
If Swifts can finish this off they have TBirds and Lightning next up. They could go on a run. So long as Hadley is okay that is.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:34 pmPost count: 15065
The crowd’s really getting involved. Giants have had opportunities in this last Q, but haven’t taken them. Big win for Swifts!!!TullyParticipantMay 8, 2022 at 5:35 pmPost count: 1309
The final quarter am was terrible. It was 10-6. So many errors. Not pretty netball.
Giants had been looking so good.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:36 pmPost count: 15065
Swifts win it 52-43! Great team effort after struggling for the past few weeks. Would love to know what the Aussie selectors don’t like about Maddy Proud. She’s been clearly the best player on court in a match featuring several internationals.Ian HarkinModeratorMay 8, 2022 at 5:48 pmPost count: 15065
