Difference on Stoopid shots was 10…..think 2 of them were in extra time.

Hey Simone, take notes from Di and put Mundy on when Moloney is so expensive….

Thanks Jo for that final intercept.

Yes, heard Sharni say that……Vixens correspondence to members said this round and next….did wonder how someone could recover from ‘minor knee surgery’ in a week.

At the beginning of the game did I hear Sharni correctly when she said Rahni is out for the rest of the season, I really hope not

Makes you wonder why Fitzgerald hasn’t played Letherbarrow. Giants really need to bring her through into the lineup. She is the future. Harten has been so costly all year.

It was a rough and tumble game out there. Very physical. Amy Parmenter gave away 28 penalties! But she wasn’t the only one. Both defences were heavily penalised. 169 penalties in all!

Vixens have been very tight lipped about Samason. Wonder why Samason had surgery a good two weeks after the injury. Presuming Samason had an arthroscope, recovery for a straight forward arthroscope is generally 3-6 weeks but if they had to repair anything whilst they were in there can be up to 3 months recovery.

I’d say best case would be Rahni being back for finals or last round and being used as an impact player.

    Coaching manual chapter 1.

If you put on a young, inexperienced player who you have under-utilised so far… and then a commentator asks “how do you think Matisse will go, will she stand up…?”

Don’t reply *we’ll see* and deflect the question with a wry smile.

Your young, inexperienced shooter will see that footage. Thankfully in this case she shoved it to Julie Fitz on a platter!

    Super shots – 12 to 1. Gosh.

So I think the result would have been 65 – 51 without the super shots. Not sure what it would have been before extra time but there wouldn’t have been extra time if they weren’t part of the game.

If we’re not saying COVID when it’s COVID. And instead we are saying “Covid health and safety protocols”

Then shouldn’t Harten have been rested under said health and safety protocols if she’s that unwell? And coughing on the bench etc? Aren’t we all meant to stay at home with any symptoms?

Great to see Josh Bowring umpiring again. He is probably Australia’s best umpire now that Michelle Phippard has retired.

Firebirds currently sitting on -3.5 NNP! Magpies up 9-4 after 7 minutes. Kim Jenner is on at GK now.

    When did Josh Bowring return?
First time I’ve seen him this year.

    1/4 time: Magpies 18-13

    Nelson 17/17
    Garbin 1/1

    Wallam 10/13
    Bueta 3/3

Collingwood has looked the more assured team in the first 15 minutes. On top so far.

    1/2 time: Magpies 38-31

    Nelson 35/36
    Garbin 3/3

    Wallam 22/29
    Bueta 7/8

This is similar to 3 weeks ago. Magpies look in control whereas Firebirds look frantic and chaotic. Once again, it’s the attack up front that is doing the damage. Jovic, Browne, Garbin and Nelson.

100% agree about Josh Bowring. Hopefully we see him more
