Oh dear. This is very poor.

Clearly the intent is for the 3 extra players not to get on court at all.

A player who’s been retired for 4 years, another who’s just had a baby, and the coach who last played nearly 20 years ago.

I’ve just googled cos thats what you do when you are looking for info – I’ve been trying to find out what positions the 7 play. I can find no player who is a regular WD or a C.

Disappointed Selby-Rickit didn’t get the start after her performance at commonwealth games.

Does Karaka play a lot of WD? I haven’t seen a lot of ANZP but thought she was more of a GD/GK.

No Karaka primarily plays GD in ANZ. I’m guessing she will mix it with Johnson as the Ferns have Temu, Jury and Fitzpatrick also in the D circle.

I’ve seen her play at WD a few times – very much like Anna Harrison when she plays out there (and Katrina) really annoying with the long arms and a good ability to pick up intercepts from the edge of the circle that shorter WD’s can’t without going offside

I see, thanks! Looking forward to seeing that circle edge havoc 🙂

Know this is a significantly under strength Jamaican side but Maddy Gordon at WA – I hope YMD is taking notes for the Pulse next year. She was so good there in 2020.
