Not that keen on Australia’s starting 7. Think England might be a chance in this one.
I quite like both lineups. This should be a good game!
Any odd starting 7 for Australia but I suspect the goal is more to test out combos and see how they go. If Turner was to play WC she’d have to partner with Bruce at times, for example, so may as well test it.
Swapping Cardwell and Housby is a good idea from England.
Fadoju at GD….this will be great to see.
So Tchine and Harvey have come all way to Australia to train but not actually get a chance in the 12? Make it make sense JT.
What a start.
Mentor and Housby replaced already. SDL and Guscoth on. Aus up 12-4
I can’t tell if it’s the feed to Wallam or her hold/take that’s a bit dicey.
England looking very meh this series.
It’s def Wallam looking iffy.
Just standing with her arm up not really repositioning. Just using her height is all.1/4 time: Aus 19-11
Wallam 15/15 (100%)
Austin 4/6 (67%)Cardwell 7/7 (100%)
Drakeford-Lewis 1/1 (100%)Well, that was a blitz by Australia. The Roses were down 9-2 before they could settle into the game. The changes did have some effect, but Diamonds still on top.
Roses might have got lucky with a call there, but they throw their next possession away and the Diamonds convert. Aus 23-16
Some interesting umpiring going on this test. Occasionally teams seem to have an age to get rid of the ball but other times held ball is called immediately.
1/2 time: Aus 32-24
Wallam 23/23 (100%)
Austin 9/11 (82%)Cardwell 15/16 (94%)
Drakeford-Lewis 6/7 (86%)After all the back and forth in that Q, it ended up dead level 13-13. The Roses are competing strongly now, but that horror start may come back to haunt them.
Wallam , not holding or repositioning. They have worked her out. So she needs to work on that.
Austin having a blinder.
The issue for Wallam is the hold isn’t clear enough so there is a delay on the feed and it gives the defender time to get ready to jump.
She will get there.
Hadley is so impressive, can’t wait to see her and Watson playing together again.
