In saying that, Koenen is probably a better match up on Mentor with her work on the baseline. Hoping to see all players on court though and playing well.

I agree, Schmeetle. I definitely haven’t forgotten and I was one of the people that had her going to CWG ahead of Koenen. I do think Mentor struggles more with movement and change of direction more recently than she does with a holding shooter – but I am loving seeing Garbin out there.

What is also great is she combines well with so many players. Watson, Wood, Price, Moloney, Hadley and Proud have found her with relative ease. And in the Quad series, was exciting to see Garbin and Bueta together.

It’s her finish on the shot that makes me nervous, but she seems to have really worked on that since the end of SSN.

I’m wondering how much pull does the captain have? Seeing as Hadley is the current captain, obvious option (and probably her preferred one) is having Proud play with her. liz Watson prefers to play with Moloney or Price!

Garbin’s tiptoe on the baseline to avoid falling out is just stunning, so impressive.
