              Thought it was going to be ugly for the Stars early, but they’ve kept in touch. Looks like it will be hard for their defenders to get any ball off the Mystics shooters.

                1/4 time: Mystics 21-17

                Fast start from Mystics and they threatened to run away with things, up 13-6. But Stars fought back and turned it into a goal for goal tussle. Both attack ends working well. Only one miss between both teams. Grace Nweke is 20/20 in one quarter!

                    1/2 time: Mystics 38-29

                    Mystics really put the foot down in that quarter and Stars struggled to go with them. Mystics have just 4 turnovers against their names so they’re not giving Stars much of a sniff. Nweke is finishing things off with 35 goals in just one half.

                      Will be tough for the Stars to get the turnover ball to pull the game back. Their errors are being punished by the Mystics.

                              3/4 time: Mystics 54-45

                              A long range goal right on 3/4 time from Amorangi Malesala to lift the Stars but they trail by 9. That quarter was 16-16. Try as they might, Stars couldn’t disrupt the Mystics attacking machine. 15 minutes left. Can the Stars challenge from here

                                Anna Stanley just said Fitzpatrick has been playing with a meniscal tear in her knee. Surely can’t/won’t be considered for the 15?
