Steel came to play in the last quarter, winning their first quarter of the season. Tactix fell in a bit of a hole, only scoring 6 goals.

      Final score 55-38 to Tactix.

Awful game all round to watch. Scrappy at the end and a big blow out

@kerryn i hadnt heard much of Mvula before ANZ but a few of my friends have and they are bit guttered for her. Leaving her country and family to come warm the bench for the pulse

Was she the GS at Manchester Thunder playing with Cardwell?

Yes she was TB, she was brilliant and would easily have been in the top few goal scorers this year had she not left. Disappointing from Pulse, if they were looking for someone to spend lots of time on the bench they should’ve hired someone local.

I said this a little while ago about Bailey Mes. She always seems to come into form before a pinnacle event. If she continues to build a solid combination with Ekenasio (if they keep the form that beat Mystics for the remainder of the season), it would not shock me at all if she made the WC team.

I am a fan of Dunn, however I don’t think she’s what the selectors are looking for. Nweke and Ekenasio would be cemented (bar injury). The other two spots IMO may come down between three players Mes, Wilson and TPSR.

I thought Amelia Warmsley was rather average against the Stars, she will be up against Jane and Karin on Sunday, going to need to produce something better against them 2. But certainly wasn’t helped by Metuarau, Gordon and Souness who just biffed and hoped or nothing.

TB, don’t know what Bayes plans are.
She’ll be focusing on just Magic now, unsure if she’ll make herself available or not. Just hoping her and Meels have a good season. I’ve never been able to figure Dunn out, there’s just something not right.

On last year’s form, Wilson was ready to be dropped. But she’s improved. At this stage, I would think it would be Nweke, Ekenasio, Wilson & TPSR.

I’m thinking the same selection Ian

Dunn looks so un interested most of the time.

@mcleod I thought that too about Dunn even at the last season with the pulse, I really thought she’d be the answer to the tactix but having my doubts now, hopefully she proves me wrong

Dunn is having to play a different style with TP, at the moment she seems some way off re inventing herself.
I know it’s early days but to me it’s not really working. They should beat the Pulse and Magic coming up though.

Is Kayla Johnston not playing this year?
