Thanks for sharing the article Ian.

Not having SF trials is very intriguing. Could we see a few changes in the mix based on form?
I’m hoping Tui’s return allows Heffernan to flex her feeding skills.

IMO Fitzpatrick and Jury were always battling for the 4th defensive spot. Fitzpatrick’s injury might be the deciding factor.

Fitzpatrick out for the Mystics this round. Is on a return to play programme. She will be replaced by a Training Partner for this weekends games.

When Fitzpatrick went off last week I wondered if that was going to impact on her chance of going to the Worlds.

With Walmsley doing such a great job and Mvula not getting much, if any, time on court, maybe lend Mvula to Steel!

In the second Q, Mystics up 29-19 over Steel.

JR you must remember they had a good local shooter in Jennifer O’Connell but they chose a import.

Oh man, I was hoping for a stronger performance from the Steel.

Please keep Savai’inaea on, her fresh legs really added some much needed spark. Accuracy is so important.

Steel really shouldn’t be as bad as this, they have decent players, but they are just really poor.

A lot of focus on no Fisher for the Steel, but Saunders is also a massive loss.

Christie is a raw talent, and she’ll be a great asset in a couple years, but in the short term it’s going to be a hard slog while they invest game time in her.

To compound things there’s no natural back-up WA either. Pre Fisher’s injury I actually though we might see Georgia Heffernan start there with Tui and Fisher in the goal circle together.

JR from memory Steel didn’t choose to re sign her. Massive loss.

Rore playing today for the Pulse. On the topic of the pulse Metuarau has had a very quiet start to the season. I don’t see her back in the ferns at this rate

I think the whole Pulse team apart from say Walmsey have been quiet.
But Metuarau has been very quiet. Fitness issue perhaps.
