          Samason is a GS, who is very injury prone and seems to lack fitness. She will take prob 2 years to learn the NZ style of play. Just about every import struggles in the ANZ.
          I can see her being on the bench a lot.

              Starting lineups on Champion Data say Paige Hadley is starting in C… but it also says Burger is starting in GS so who knows!

                I’m at the game – well the pregame. Grace was out shooting at the mens’ halftime break. Maia was not. So while I can’t find a reliable team list, looks like she might be back.

                          A strong opening Q from the Diamonds. They looked in some sort of control when leading 16-9 and with possession but a turnover allowed the Ferns to get back into it late.

                              Ferns putting a lot more pressure on the Diamonds in the 2nd Q coming up with 4 possession gains to none from Australia. Nweke came on strong but gave up 4 turnovers.

                                Can someone please explain the short pass rule. At lot of passes in the NZ attack end look short to me. I thought there was supposed to be enough space for another player to move between but I acknowledge I don’t completely understand the rule.
                                Ferns are playing well and look hungry. Diamonds need to find another gear.
