Is this comp similar to ANC/ANL in Australia?
A few notable names on the team lists.@thunder123 I’m not sure what ANC/ANL in Australia is but the NZ Open is pretty much like state vs state if it were Australia. This is basically representing your province. ANZ > NNL > Open. Usually made up of the odd ANZ player, ex ANZ players and a bit of age and youth.
Netball NZ once again showing how far behind the times they are. No live streaming of the event which is poor. It only takes a cell phone and some data to do it now a days.
Yeah, it’s the same sort of thing. This is based on regions/provinces. Some familiar names, but most of the real top line players aren’t there. As Nesian said, ANZP comes first, then NNL, then this is the next level down.
I see Aaliyah Dunn in one of the teams. I almost feel like that’s an unfair advantage!
One of NZs best GS, arguably should be in the Ferns team or at least in the Ferns squad.
Would love to know why DNT does not want her? I mean it can’t just be a fitness thing, cause she’s giving Toeava a chance.Delivering unbeaten records during pool play, Tauranga and Christchurch Red headlined the eight teams who have advanced to tomorrow’s quarter finals at the NetballSmart Netball NZ Open Champs in Dunedin.
