Being competitive against Thunder was a surprise after recent debacles. Thunder have shown a recent decline in form so it’s not as much of a shock as it would have been but a shock nevertheless. I wonder what next season will bring. Will there be a further churn of players & maybe a different head coach or will they hope that the current crop show considerable development a year from now?
Back to the top ⬆️@Pulse_Netball are pushed all the way by @SirensNetball but they take the win to go return to the summit ✅#GetSomeNet | #NSL2023 pic.twitter.com/UQXrcrmH5S

I’ve seen on Twitter that Fumi got injured. Anyone know what happened?
It happened just a couple of minutes before the end. She had a collision with an opponent and went down. And stayed there for a while. She had to be helped up and off court by a couple of people. It seemed to be a lower left leg injury, maybe an ankle? Interestingly, she had landed awkwardly a bit earlier in the 4th Q, and looked a bit ginger for a few seconds but carried on picking up intercepts and deflections all over the place. She was given the player of the match award after the game, but they couldn’t interview her because she was stuck on the bench being looked at by the doctor.
