          FULLTIME

London Pulse 55 Surrey Storm 42

          POTM: Funmi Fadju

It was a close match from the start. Also very physical, Jade C got slammed a few times, Pitman pushed 2 or 3 Storm players off her back and Tchine kept stamping her feet in frustration.

Ian you need to find some stats, Greenway said FF had 19 deflections

            FULLTIME:

Loughborough Lightning 65 Manchester Thunder 59

            POTM: Nat Panagarry

OMG what a game, Thunder held a slender lead through most of the first half but the scores were level for long periods. Nat P nipped in for an interception in the third quarter, Lightning scored and took control of the game. Thunder fought back and narrowed the score briefly in Q4 but Lightning remained calm to claim their place in the final.

Some stats would be good, I believe Thunder shot at !00%

Must also point out the defence for ALL 4 teams was very good, wouldn’t be surprised if any of them ended up in ANZP

Yeah, that’s right. On the NSL site, it says Fadoju 19 deflections (which is more than most entire teams manage) and Adio also had 7. And yes, Thunder was 59/59!

You can find the stats here…

Pulse defence all over it early on. Not a single easy pass for Lightning in the attack end. Pulse 8-3 after 6 1/2 mins

                                  1/4 time: Pulse 17-13

A turnover and goal right on the buzzer to bring Lightning back into it, but Pulse has had the better of Q1. Fresh from a jaw-dropping 19 deflections in the semi-final, Fadoju already has 5 here. The Pulse attack also looking more composed.
