Who voted for these awards? Steph gets two POTM and doesn’t get awarded Shooter of the tournament? Or even player of the Tournament? Grace was good, but seriously

@sarah0 unsure? I’d like to know to, even as a sf fan I’m surprised about Steph wood not being in there

Heffernan, Watson and to a lesser extent Burger looked stuffed in that third quarter. Assuming Taurua was wanting them to ‘work through it’ but the error rate would have been my cue to make changes.

I think by and large Taurua has her NWC team set (barring injury), it’s just those other shooting and midcourt spots to go:
                Ekenasio, Nweke
Crampton, Heffernan, Toeava’s name in pencil
                Burger, Jury, Karaka, Watson

You can imagine Selby-Rickit and Wilson being the other shooters named and I’m picking Gordon’s versatility over her club mate Souness for the twelfth spot on the plane.

I think nz should take a lot of confidence in this series! Burger and Easton’s first matches back after an extended break and they’ll only get fitter!
