How about this for a crazy stat…

In the 3 games Australia played against NZ & England in the Quad Series, they lost the first Q each time by 4 goals, then turned it around and won the 2nd Q each time by 3 goals, therefore trailing by 1 goal at half time in each game.

The Silver Ferns are currently stuck in Singapore due to the mass flooding in Auckland – airport closed until further notice.

Thanks for that Maryann. Having heard the news about the flooding in Auckland, I was wondering if the Ferns had been able to get back beforehand.

Wasn’t Gary Burgess umpiring? Can hardly say he’s not one of the best umpires in the world.

On Twitter last night Gary actually showed a disgusting abusive message he’d got from someone after the game. Ridiculous that that stuff goes on.

@JR – the Ferns should be on their way home hopefully.
