Exciting! I think the Lightning have a great chance to start their season the right way with Harten and Hay both out. Surprised to see Giants still favourites. Likewise I think Fever will be too strong with Weston out too. A shame to not be able to start your season with the full team.
The match i feel is most likely to go either way is Magpies v Swifts. Can’t wait!
I finished a long day at work today and then I realised that SSN starts again this weekend! That perked me up.
Very much looking forward to the opening game – should be a close one based on recent history.

Unless I have missed or overlooked them I canβt see that the team lists were announced for round 1 (other than some teams making their own announcements). Seems like a step backwards.
Team lists were released on Centre Circle but surely they’d also put them on the website again. You’re right Tully, disappointing.
Oh thank you. Might watch next week then.
Still wish they could just publish them on their website.
Yes, they were on Centre Court. And they’re on my preview which you can see at the top of this thread!
It’s very disappointing that they weren’t on the website.

It was an awesome preview Ian :yahoo: so excited for the opener! Off to RAC Arena tonight too, very interested to see if the Vixens start with the Mundy/Watson/Moloney that destroyed Fever last year, especially with Weston out.

A strong start for the Magpies as they lead 20-13 at 1/4 time.
The feeds into Nelson are impeccable. Swifts looking a little underdone, Garbin sinks another 2 pointer. Not how I thought this match would go!
Half time: Magpies 39-29.
Another good quarter for the Magpies. Swifts looking a bit disorganised under the pressure of Collingwood’s defence. Ward has EIGHT gains already.
