Great start from Fever, up 14-8. And Jordan Cransberg has the highest NNP on court so far. Amazing for Fever to be able to bring a player like her in.
1/4 time: Fever 20-12
Jhaniele Fowler sinks a goal right on 1/4 time. Unlike the first time these teams played, the Tbirds defence hasn’t been able to slow down the Fever scoring at all. Meanwhile, they’ve committed 8 turnovers themselves!
Tippah Dwan is on for the start of the 2nd Q, Horjus moves to WA. Sterling has come up with 2 gains to start the Q. They’ve capitalised on 1 of them. Fever 21-15
1/2 time: Fever 31-26
A much-improved Q from Thunderbirds, spurred on by 5 possession gains from Sterling and 1 each from Garrett and Wilson. Once again, Latanya Wilson is doing a great job on ATN, but Jordan Cransberg is making up for it.
Tbirds putting Fever under all sorts of pressure here, but at the moment, Fever holding on 36-34
3/4 time: Fever 41-39
Once again, Thunderbirds had the better of that third Q and narrowed the gap. Here’s a stat for you… Fever has not won a last quarter all year in matches that have been close at 3/4 time. What about today?
Tippah Dwan has gone off and Lucy Austin is on. Cardwell moves to GA. What an intense game. Fever 44-43
Glasgow will not shoot and it’s so frustrating compared to Dwan’s slick shooting when she was on.
Sasha Glasgow v Eleanor Cardwell in super shot time! Tbirds in front 53-51 with 2 minutes left!!!
Thunderbirds have won!!!
Confusion over the score, but it’s officially 54-53 in Thunderbirds’ favour. Once again, Fever were beaten by just one goal, and once again Fever lost a fourth quarter under pressure. What a crazy game!!!
Telling penalty count… 49-87. Another skinny loss for Fever- defence end did well but too much time out of play, attack end couldn’t find Fowler properly. You have to think Dwan would have secured a greater margin for Tbirds but Austin did a great job coming on.

That was so confusing to watch Tbirds cheering while I was looking at a draw on the tv!
Sasha didn’t really follow up her amazing game last week. I don’t think she put up many goals at all? But when you’ve got someone like Fowler who’s a sure thing, who really cares
Very different defence this week to last week.
One of Cardwell’s super shots, the TV only put the score up by 1!
Incredible fightback from Thunderbirds after last week’s game, and after being down 20-12 at 1/4 time. POTM Cardwell.
Fever has now lost 4 of their last 6 matches, all of them by just one goal, and all of them after leading at 3/4 time.
Tbirds’ win once again built on the defence of their back 3. They were successful in shutting Glasgow and Teague-Neeld down and restricting Fowler to just 42 goals. Well done to Fever TP Jordan Cransberg who had the highest NNP on court.
