Are Fever pretenders? They seem to only perform against the bottom sides, even though their losses have been by small margins, they have the most losses against all the other top 4 sides, unable to win against any of them since round 4. Vixens will join them if they lose to Swifts tomorrow, but at least they have been beating teams around them recently.

Top 4 teams playing each other:

Thunderbirds 3 wins 1 loss and 1 draw
Swifts 2 wins 1 loss and 1 draw
Vixens 2 wins and 3 losses

It’s not included on the SSN ladder. What are the percentage standings of TBirds & Swifts?

If that question’s not clear, I’m wondering who will go ahead if Swifts win.

            Tbirds- 109.7%
            Swifts- 103.7%
The thunderbirds v Swifts game will determine who finishes first.

Also amazing effort!! Tbirds kept fever to their lowest score this season, maybe even last?

It’s great to see petty as an impact player over a starting player. Makes such a difference. What’s wrong with Nakerville, it’s like she’s lost her magic, seems off pace.

Tbirds are well ahead of Swifts on %. Swifts only got above 100% for the first time last week.

                    Scratcher…

Fever seem to be very poor finishers under pressure. They’ve led at 3/4 time in every single game this year, but the only 4th quarters that they’ve won have been in matches where they were comfortably ahead. In matches that were close, they’ve lost every 4th Q.

I wonder if verity would’ve made a difference?
Credit to the thunderbirds for shutting down second phase.

                        Thanks, Ian.

PS. Did you know “keep me signed in” doesn’t work?

Sadly, there are a few things on here that don’t work too well, and we can’t seem to fix. 🙁

Does anyone think Garbin will get a starting GS bib over Nelson next year?
Nelson is underrated and deserves one over Garbin even if she’s an Aussie.

Credit to Adelaide defenders for shutting down ATN and Glasgow (I believe that’s where the game was won) but I wish fever had taken more from the vixens win last week and tried a few different options in attack. The girls were beaten in the foot race or pulling out of passes and didn’t seem to have any options (Cransberg coming out into C again helped a little as I like her dodges)

Cardwell has come through on top of Bruce in last few outings. Be interesting to see if this transfers to the international game.
