                1/4 time: Swifts 16-14

                A bit of a funny game. For a while, the scoreboard was all out of whack, we’ve seen a few uncharacteristic errors from Housby, and Sterling has gone to GD with Wilson at GK. Klau is Swifts’ best, Wilson having a great game for Tbirds.

                  Good start to the 2nd Q for Tbirds and they lead 24-21.

                  Latanya Wilson.. in 23 minutes… 7 gains and 7 deflections!!!

                          Well, it’s entertaining. And a bit confusing with the scoreboard playing up. But hey, we’ve made it to the second half without the power going out. So that’s a win!

                            The Thunderbirds huddles have been such a joy to watch this season, not the coaching directions but the players talking to eachother right before they go back on court. So different from what we’ve seen in previous seasons from them, accountable yet positive.

                              Cardwell keeps leading into messy space, asking for the ball, and the thunderbrids oblige and put it there. Some not so great passing choices as of late. Reminds me of the frustration of coaching my u/13 team.

                                3/4 time: 42-42

                                This is such a chaotic game. And the scoreboard/clock confusion doesn’t help.

                                So many errors from Tbirds in that 3rd Q, which allowed Swifts to take the lead before Cardwell tied the scores late. Latanya Wilson has 10 gains to this point!

                                  Sterling isn’t playing like she wants to win this game, I wouldn’t mind seeing the switch at Power 5 (but wasn’t watching earlier so can’t really comment on if its a good idea or not).
