Bright start to this game. Into the power 5 in the first Q and Lightning is up 11-10. Steph Wood is seemingly everywhere and Hannah Mundy have a great game for Vixens.

1/4 time: Lightning 17-15

The difference between this week and last week for Lightning could not be greater. Everything is working perfectly in the attack end. Wood & Koenen ticking along beautifully like a well-oiled machine. Defenders not having a big say.

Vixens need Eddy on asap. Could try her at GD as Weston is being well beaten by Wood or WD as Moloney and Watson are not slowing down the Lightning to the circle.

At least Vixens have made a change. Sure Mannix was nowhere but she had zero protection ahead of her.

Vixens have been very poor on to loose ball tonight.

Mundy is having a good game but Watson and Moloney are not. I’d be inclined to take Watson off….

1/2 time: Lightning 33-31

Hard to imagine a better half of netball than what Wood & Koenen produced, but Vixens going in just 2 down will lift them. With just over a minute to go in the 2nd Q, Lightning led by 7. Vixens proceeded to put on 5 points late.

Super shots keeping vixens in it.

I’ve changed my mind Watson needs to go to WA. Mundy has played well but they need Watson there. i wonder if they try Mundy at C so Eddy can come on at GD rather than WD?

Wood – Koenen is seemless. But Vixens need to work harder on defense through court. It’s too late once Wood has it.

Austin is not having a great game…lots of penalties and not a high score.

I’d put Eddy on somewhere. Mundy in C and Watson in WA. But Watson and Austin get in each others way.
