2023 SSN ROUND 6

I guess one thing to take into consideration with selections is SSN is not traditional netball.

Would Garbin look as poor if she wasn’t going for super shots and working the ball to the post? And equally would Glasgow look as outstanding without the super shot?

It also means the defensive structures work differently. I think Fever are one of the least effective teams during the power 5.

Re: Magpies, I think one issue is Richo doesn’t seem to hold her senior players accountable (in front of the camera at least). You rarely see them getting told what they need to do to change how the game is going.

Garbin will make the diamonds squad, I’m sure of it. They’ll probably see how she goes in that environment before selecting the final team.
Does anyone know how many players will be selected for the squad? Hopefully it’s an extended squad id love to see Garrett and Glasgow get a call up, even if then don’t make the final team just for experience.

It’s an extended squad on Thursday, somewhere between 18 and 22 players. Garbin HAS to move- maybe even Giants if Harten retires, I think Swifts are going to try to develop Fawns rather than take back Garbin, and Samason and Garbin are too similar for her to end up at Vixens. No idea what she’s going to do!
