I would have put Mundy on and Moloney at WD and kept Weston in GD.

Firebirds offered no defence end to end with only 11 secs left in the quarter and Vixens score on the buzzer to go 2 up at quarter time.

Wallam looks great this year and I think that’s partially because she’s playing with feeding GAs who give her space. Moore doing a good job again so far.

                        1/4 time: Vixens 17-15

Pretty even quarter, but Vixens held sway for most of it. Liz Watson carrying on her form from last week with 9 assists already. Not a great start from Emily Moore with 4 turnovers.

Timeout halfway through the 2nd Q. Vixens still up by 2. Quite a few turnovers, but interesting that most of them are coming from the goal attacks, 5 against both Austin and Moore.

Vixens don’t look good. Missing Eddy coming out of defence. Mannix doesn’t move enough in attack.

Interesting hearing commentary saying vixens aren’t taking the first option but looking for something else then going back to an option that is closed off. Vixens have been doing this for the last few weeks and haven’t fixed it. Now they are getting frustrated at each other. Bring Mundy and Borger on. Moloney is hesitant on the feed at circle edge and never looks for Austin who is therefore missed time after time..

Vixens all over the shop this quarter. Would be putting Mundy on in WA or C sooner rather than later. Probably WA because I don’t think Moloney has been the issue in C.

Actually think the only unproblematic player in attack this quarter for Vixens has been Kumwenda. Bakewell-Doran is all over Austin like a rash. very Weston-like!

I’d be takingAustin off. Watson is doing fine. Austin has been missed and frustration has the better of her. She wants ball speed but it isn’t happening.
