Sat:
Thunderbirds v Firebirds
Fever v SwiftsSun:
Lightning v Vixens
Magpies v GiantsI’m looking forward to todays games.
Fully expecting the Tbirds to win. But you get the sense that today is an important one for Wallam and World Cup selection. Can she hold her own against Sterling?
I feel the Swifts match up well against Fever. Tough ask to fly to Perth and beat a team spearheaded by Fowler, but if they can retain possession like they do on their best days, they could be dangerous.
Bring it on!!
WOW!!!
Vice Captain Jess Anstiss and Goal Attack Sasha Glasgow have both been ruled out of tonight’s match against the NSW Swifts due to COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols.
Replacing them are Training Partners Nat Butler (nee Medhurst) and Jordan Cransberg. pic.twitter.com/VDzRBAGme6

10 minutes gone and the defenders are on top so far. Sterling dominating. Tbirds up 10-7.
Everybody has the yips to start with- 17/25 in total on court!
Simpson is all over Horjus. Tbirds struggling to get through the midcourt when she isn’t an option.
1/4 time: 12-12
13 turnovers already. If you like seeing attackers under pressure and defenders getting their hands to a lot of ball, then this game is for you. Tbirds already with 9 gains & 12 deflections, Firebirds 5 & 5.
Oh dear, Tippah Dwan coming off and going to be looked at on the sidelines. She landed awkwardly and her foot basically twisted sideways.
Firebirds 16-13 after 3 1/2 mins 2nd Q.
Horjus about to get her first actual minutes at GA this season.
Approaching the power play in the second Q and Firebirds lead 21-19. Lots of errors so far. Tbirds now making changes and Horjus goes to Ga so there’s a completely different shooting combo to the one that started.
Stirling easily winning the battle over Wallam right now.
