Wonder what happened to Simmons? She wasn’t with the team for presentation or when they got given the trophy.

From memory Glasgow left because she didn’t feel supported after her ACL, and that Gooden was getting more court time than her.

Finally managed to watch some of the matches and I’m just so impressed by how many good shooters Australia has in the pathway. Obviously some of them benefit from the super shot with their excellent range, but the likes of Letherbarrow, Bell, Samason, Lucy Austin and Dwyer are so impressive. Add in Batcheldor coming back and the many years that Garbin, Koenen and Kiera Austin have left and we’re really spoilt for choice. I really hope this is the year Letherbarrow gets more court time, she’s stood up time after time and just needs more experience.

If Glasgow can back up last season and TGC with a solid 2023 then she would have to be in the mix for the next cycle as well.

Her and Nat were great to watch in the final.
