The first quarter ends with England down by six to Jamaica, who are certainly looking to have carried over their Comm Games form into this first quarter! Williams with some strong feeds into the circle and Ward and Dehaney looking fierce in D!

It's as is someone has turned up the speed on the England attack. Still plenty of unforced errors as Jade Clarke is caught with a foot out of court, but they certainly look to be attacking this second quarter with a bit more fight.

Half time: Jamaica 34-31
A long bomb on the buzzer from Housby (who else) and England have pulled ahead by two.
A huge third quarter from the Roses and despite making some changes, Jamaica are struggling to settle their midcourt.

England have taken the first Test against Jamaica 73-52, in Manchester.
Trailing 34-31 at half time, the Roses fought back with a 18-13 third term, before storming home 24-5 in the final quarter.
Jo Harten top-scored for England with 36/38 at 95% accuracy.#ENGvJAM pic.twitter.com/ROKmGTue52

After a solid four quarters of defensive effort, @LaylaGuscoth is your Player of the Match.
A huge shift from the DR tonight and very well deserved. #ENGvJAM

How did Jamaica line up? And did Pitman get on court?
Jamaica:
GS Fowler
GA Beckford
WA Williams
C Dixon-Rochester
WD Plummer
GD Ward
GK DehaneyPitman came on in the last Q when the game was well wrapped up.
The big moves that made all the difference were made earlier in the game. This was the lineup that did all the damage…
GS Harten
GA Housby
WA Metcalf
C Allison
WD Guscoth
GD Fadoju
GK HarveyWould have loved to see Fadoju at GD. I’ve only seen her play at GK.
Did Jamaica make any changes in 4th quarter? 24-5 is a massive ? Compared to the rest of the match.
That last quarter score⦠wow! Did jamaica fall apart of England surge forward? Or both? How often has a team with Fowler in GS only scored 5 goals??
Good to see someone else in GK instead of Mentor! (I know she wasn’t named in this game’s line up)
@JR Fadoju was fire at GD. She was honestly quite quiet at GK tonight but really started to get her groove when she moved to GD.
@Nate Jamaica made a lot of changes throughout the enitre match, if I’m not wrong the 4th quarter was the one with the most changes.Overall, it was great to see Harten and Housby firing together again today. Clarke and Metcalf combined much better compared to previous matches which was also lovely to see. I think Jess Thirlby has found her best defensive combo.
WD Guscoth
GD Fadoju
