It seems really big this year. Some teams are going to be big improvers, some others on the way down.

@Ian couldn’t agree more. Storm were already on the up and this new line up will undoubtedly ruffle a few feathers now – can’t wait to see SDL and Peace together.

Who are we waiting for? Wasps & Stars – anyone else?

Lightning hasn’t really announced anyone. Nor Pulse.

@Ian aha! Although I’d assume they’d both like to keep their rosters from last year – wonder if the Aussies will come back to Pulse? Weren’t they both playing in the ANC?

Okay, I’m confused. Is my mind playing tricks on me? I thought Shaquanda Greene-Noel was leaving Dragons? Anyway, she’s back!

                  Shaquanda Greene-Noel
                  Annabel Roddy

                  Ally Housley

@Rona Hunniset Honey played ANC but McDonald did not. McDonald would have struggled to make Fury on first selections although would likely have been selected over Mawson when Samason withdrew had she wanted. Barkmeyer was the main GA.

Honey was easily outperformed by Mundy in the Fury midcourt. I also thought Cransberg (Vixens TP) was stronger. I was really looking forward to seeing how Honey would play after a year in the UK but she was still hesitant and had too many turnovers.

Honey has signed with Casey Demons in VNL for 2023 and she did finish the season with them when she came back from UK. So maybe Honey is keen to maintain ties with the VIC pathway.

So that’s 3 imports for the Mavericks. I’m really curious if Mather holds some sort British citizenship or whether one of her parents/grandparents was born in the UK.

@Tully thanks for the intel – sounds like Honey is favouring staying at home.

Bit disappointed with Mavs signings, although the arrival of Rothwell could give her more court time at GA. But great to see Shaquanda back for Dragons: she was one of the biggest hits of last season for me.

I think Pulse said mid September for their team announcement.
