And just like that normal service resumes.
21-11 to the Mystics after 15 minutes.
4/8 from TPSR and a couple of poorly placed feeds into Bird tell the story for the Tactix.
No Pedersen this week, so Sinclair with the start at C.
Be interesting to see if the Tactix can turn this around.
Half time 24 – 31 to the Mystics. Second quarter saw Nweke, Toeava off, Glen and Vui on. Sokolich Beatson started at C, then Johnson and Te Ao, who was at WD took over. WA was Earle, then Sokolich Beatson came back on at WD. I do wish Glen would shoot when she has the ball, but also that she would not insist on taking any penalty pass and instead allow Vui at GA to take them so she’s under the post to receive the feed.
Well the ANZ premierhsip was interesting for a while, but now it’s going to be the Mystics all the way from now on. Sigh!!. No a very good performance from Te Paea today.
Inspired mystics performance today! I think Toeava has firmly shown how incredible she is, and her influence on court. Karaka had her best game of the season. Good to see Earle back to her best too. Tactix wise I did wonder why Allen wasn’t brought on earlier. I personally am not the biggest fan of Koloto and didn’t think she helped the Tactix (although they were very limited on who else they could put in WA).
With Nweke and Toeava off court it was 20-12 to Tactix.
Tactix struggled not having Pedersen as a option. And agree Jess Allen should have been on in the 1st Q/Mystics upset competition leaders Tactix 61-49, leaving them just one point out of 3rd place. Grace Nweke showed how much of a difference she makes, scoring 41 goals in 37 minutes.
This result also means Pulse can take over the top spot tomorrow.
It’s a good wake up call for Tactix going forward. They’re pretty safe on the table.
I’m hoping for a Tactix Pulse final. A change up will be nice. Tactix for the title!
Steel have added Charlotte Lourey to the Steel roster as permanent replacement for Ivari Christie who has had an ACL construction.
Another acl!! How awful. I can’t imagine what it must be like for those athletes. Minor injuries are hard enough to handle as a social player leg alone a major injury to a professional
INBOX: Charlotte Lourey has been promoted to the Southern Steel as a permanent replacement for Ivari Christie, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season and undergone an ACL reconstruction.

Very exciting final couple of rounds. No one in the top 4 can afford to lose a game to maintain their standing on the table.
When did Christie do her ACL? Feel like she’s been out for a little while and only now the diagnosis is out.
Some teams have had very good home crowds this year. Tactix have packed out their stadium twice, Pulse always get good support, Magic pretty good, Steel same, Stars small stadium but good support, but the Mystics not really.
@thunder123 she had had it heavily strapped all season, I think Sulu did hers quite a few years back and somehow managed to play out the season, and then had surgery on it, wonder if Ivari’s was damaged and then just got worse to the extent it required surgery?
