Sorry, I thought I’d already started this…
A great win for Stars over Steel 63-46!
Impressive Tactix, Jane 10 gains. Te Paea played well, the whole team did.
Magic hmm!!!!Toeava out for Mystics tomorrow. Replaced by Kayla Johnson. Yeah that’s really replacing like for like. I can only assume that Te Ao is going to play WA.
I was thinking moving Tayla Earle to WA, but not sure Te Ao is up to 4 qs in C. Unless they plan on playing Kayla Johnson in the mid court.
I was actually wondering if the stars have called Kayla to see if she was interested in playing – but guess their outs have been in the attacking end.
Soft tissues recovery time? Weeks? Toeavas biggest obstacle will be looking at other ways to maintain her fitness off the court.
Thank goodness Poi is playing well. Good opportunity to see Earle at WA (if that happens).
Te Ao starting at C, Earle at WA. Can’t work out if Johnson is in for C if needed or they’re going to throw MSB into it.
Actually maybe Dani Binks into WA.
will we see Karaka at GS again? Or even Kayla? lol. Her first contract with the Mystics was as a shooter!
Pulse scored 14 goals in a row to destroy the Mystics. Pulse playing with speed and greater precision, with some soft turnovers from the Mystics.
Mystics finally benching Glenn for Vui. I guess none of this matters if Nweke is back next week.
Full time: Pulse 54-38
The three games this week, margins of 17, 18, and 16.
I’m going to have to agree with AAT. The Pulse were good but weren’t blow your socks off clinical. Appreciated her response regarding earning courttime.
No point beating on an injured Mystics team. The SSN are talking about 12 player squads, should the ANZp do the same?
That performance absolutely frustrated me Mystics wise. GS was not in the circle so many times when the attackers were looking to pass in. Yes a moving circle can be an advantage but one shooter should always be available.
