I had an inkling it could be Garbin. She certainly got the most court time for the Diamonds and she was pretty consistent across both SSN and Diamonds.
Congratulations to her and all the winners!
Mannix and Price unlucky to miss out on recognition, especially the latter, though it was extremely competitive and all were worthy winners.
Surprised but pleased to see Horjus as POTY- first Australian in SSN era to win it! She was a barometer for Tbirds and near unstoppable in either position, but I really thought Wilson would take it out.
Delightful surprise to see Ervin named as defensive reserve, she never even crossed my mind but so well deserved.
Austin and Garbin would both have been deserving of the LED, but Garbin’s consistency internationally probably got her over the line- Austin’s Con Cup campaign let her down.
A very exciting array of awardees!
Pure disbelief 😅
