I don’t actually think it was in their plans, but considering the treatment that she’s got from the Jamaican selectors, why not?
Yes, agree, definitely donโt think itโs been on their radar, and may not be – sorry I didn’t word that very well.
Weโve lost a few players to NZ and England, maybe itโs time to grab Jok while we can? She could be a great asset.
Sounds like Netball Jamaica are being difficult. It was only a matter of time before a major import changed allegiance to Australia.
Housby had an incredible second game, bit stiff to miss out on POTM. Fadoju, while less consistent, produced important turnovers that really gave England momentum.
Wilson and Sterling-Humphrey both benched at different points!Interesting- someone on instagram commented on Netball Jamaica’s post “what about Shimona being brought into the team?” And they replied “she will be in soon.”
Well if that’s the case then Diamonds may be a bit late to the party…
Did the old Jamaican coach step down?
Test 2 shooting stats
Housby: 27/29
Pearson: 15/17
Tchine: 13/14Aiken: 36/40
Beckford: 10/12
Dixon: 1/1What an incredible game! Jamaica records a thrilling 50-49 win with a Shanice Beckford penalty shot on the buzzer. The Sunshine Girls were on top for much of the game but the Roses kept fighting back.
The series stands at 1-1 with the decider tomorrow.

Helen Housby not playing today. For those who didn’t see it, she suffered a head knock yesterday and stayed on court for a while instead of being brought off.
Team news is in ๐ฐ
โน๏ธ Helen Housby was unavailable for selection due to an injury sustained in yesterday's fixture.

The Jamaican Sunshine Girls have sealed a 2-1 victory in the inaugural Horizon Series with a 61-53 win over England’s Roses in today’s 4th test in front of an excited crowd in Kingston, Jamaica.
I think we can safely say this series has been a success.
The Sunshine Girls win the Rhone Hornsby Trophy after defeating the England Roses in the final test, 61-53.
