A good competitive opening quarter here with NZ just edging in front late to go in at 1/4 time up 16-14

            Nweke 10/12 (83%)
            Malesala 6/6 (100%)

            Cholhok 11/11 (100%)
            Eyaru 3/3 (100%)

              1/2 time: 30-30

              Nweke 21/23 (91%)
              Malesala 9/10 (90%)

              Cholhok 25/25 (100%)
              Eyaru 5/6 (83%)

It’s high scoring, mistake free netball, and it’s not hard to see why with Nweke at one end and Cholhok the other. Tayla Earle has 18 assists and 0 turnovers!

Halfway through the last quarter and there’s just two goals the difference, the Silver Ferns leading 52-50

                        1/4 time: AUS 17-13

A near flawless first Q from Australia as they shot out to a 7 goal lead at one stage, before the Roses pegged them back late. Good quality game.

                        Garbin 10/10 (100%)
                        Dwyer 7/8 (88%)

                        Cardwell 6/6 (100%)
                        Housby 7/7 (100%)

Williams and Cardwell have been replaced. Glasgow on at GS, Rattu on at WD. Fadoju moves to GD.

                            1/2 time: AUS 35-25

                            Garbin 18/18 (100%)
                            Dwyer 17/19 (89%)

                            Glasgow 4/5 (80%)
                            Housby 15/16 (94%)

A terrific first half from the Diamonds who look very slick. The shooting combo of Garbin/Dwyer in particular looking strong. Turnovers 10-6 against Eng.

                                3/4 time: AUS 53-35

Well, what can I say. At the moment, this is just a relentless green and gold wave rushing down court. The Roses have no answer.

                                Garbin 31/32 (97%)
                                Dwyer 22/25 (88%)

                                Cardwell 9/9 (100%)
                                Housby 21/22 (95%)
                                Glasgow 5/7 (71%)

For Australia, Garbin, Dwyer and Hadley have all been given a well deserved rest, replaced by Koenen, Austin and Moloney. Sunday Aryang is the only Diamond not to get on court. Hannah Joseph comes on for England meaning all 12 Roses have got on court.
