Tbirds continuing to pile on the pressure. They’re up by 10 in the 3rd Q as Simone McKinnis has a time out.

Mundy reminds me a lot of Kim Green. Amazing, strong athlete with so much flair and skill, but sometimes not as strategic in her decision-making.

It’s a shame that the Vixens haven’t given Graham more court time this season, they could use a changeup in the circle.

Thunderbirds should have recruited Miller instead of Scherian.

Vixens cutting into the margin majorly with supershots.

Interesting to see Williams in WA. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her play there. Hopefully she keeps doing well!

              3/4 time: Tbirds 51-43

Good use of the super shot looked like getting Vixens right back in this game, before Horjus answered with 2 of her own. Tbirds with a handy lead but Vixens still with a chance.

              Gains: THU 10-3
              Penalties: VIX 46-34
              Turnovers: VIX 17-14

Tayla Williams and Romelda have a lovely connection.

TBirds have been too good tonight but they will be hoping Frew’s ankle is okay. Great lessons for Vixens though. Wrong starting lineup against TBirds. This midcourt is their best combination. When Eddy is back I’d be using her in GD as Weston is not having a lot of impact. Ultimately Vixens have not built any defensive pressure.

Thunderbirds really putting their stamp on this game now. Dominating. They lead this last Q 13-5 and they lead the game by 16!

Several changes. Both sides have got all ten on court now, but for different reasons. Williams and Aiken-George have been given a rest after being two of the best on court. Tbirds 66-50

I get sick of Tbirds fans complaining that (Lucy) Austin isn’t put in court enough. I’m sorry but they would not be near the top of the table if they didn’t have Romelda on court. Appreciate she has a lot of promise but she’s not ready to be carrying that load yet.

I agree with re L Austin. Tbirds look much better with RAG on court

                            Full time: Tbirds 73-58

Well, the Thunderbirds have been a strong defensive side for several years. But the big difference now… they’re also strong in attack. How scary that is for the opposition. POTM was Shamera Sterling-Humphrey with another big game.

TBirds won rebounds 13-2 and Deflections 25-5.

Walters’ return very impressive though. Just give her the WA bib.

Real lack of gratitude and hype for RAG from thunderbirds fans on Facebook

Potentially because to the insane number of stars in that team

Is Netball Victoria a WA factory or what? They just keep churning them out.

It was great to see Tayla Williams in WA too, I was under the impression she’s more of a C/WD (like Moloney) but she was pretty handy there. I thought she was better than Scherian.
