        Every time Matt Russell shows up I die inside lol. At least they always match him with someone confident like Madi Browne or Cath Cox- I remember one game by him and Sharon Finnan-White, it was unbearable.

        I quite like Cath in commentary, I find most of the Queensland commentators quite biased though. LOVE Em Beaton, she’s doing a fabulous job.

        Surprised Sue Gaudion is still allowed to commentate for Fever as she’s some sort of manager- she does a good job though, just as impartial (at least out loud) as anyone else.

          I was wondering if Cath Cox was not on Pivot tonight as Liz Watson was the guest. I wouldn’t blame Liz if she didn’t want to sit next to someone that called her a cheat the week before. Also note that Cox didn’t make the same accusation against Paige Hadley when she knocked the ball straight out of the hands of Sophie Garbin in today’s game. Perhaps Cath realised that she was completely out of order?

            I actually like Ann Sargent. She’s honest and insightful.
            I also like Sue Gaudion. She’s different to the others and I like her humour.
            Cath Cox has never liked Fever ( even though she played for them) and her commentary always seems to support the team that is opposing them.

              Cath also played for Vixens in ANZ IN 2014, her last year before retiring. It was Watson’s first year and they won, giving Cox the fairytale ending.

                Despite having a Fever preference Gaudion is a very good commentator. She focuses on the game and doesn’t seem to miss much at all.

                Finnan White is incredibly biased and often tongue tied. It’s painful.

                Cox is biased to NSW teams. At times she can be insightful but she can also just be ridiculous in her personal opinions. The main issue with her commentary for me is she gets distracted and misses things. Eg, Vixens and Swifts game Eddy was hobbling around for 3-4 minutes and telling Weston to go for the CPR then when she dropped a ball because she could not push off any power in her leg Cox simply says oh straight through the hands of Eddy and thinks they are choosing to move Weston to WD strategically. It was Nexhip that pointed out Eddy was injured.

                Chatfield and Bassett are exactly the same. Too busy talking and not paying attention to the game. Gaudion shushed Bassett the other night so she could hear what the umpire was saying to Dehaney

                  Best are definitely Stacey FB, Dylan Nexhip, Madi Browne, Kim Green, Em Beaton, Keirra Trompf (slightly biased but I like her). Katrina Rore isn’t bad cause she has no ties to any state, but she’s quite green still.

                    Stacey Francis-Bayman is phenomenal. So well spoken. No screaming. Always insightful and balanced in her commentary.

                      Can’t be any worse than Goran in the ANZ, so much waffle about nothing, seems to no know the rules.
                      Struggle to understand the need to have people who know FA about the game, doing the commentating.

                        I think SFB has definitely commentated some Fever games and her bias as been a bit over the top

                            For the sake of the sport Bianca Chatfield, Cath Cox and Matt Russell need to be removed from commentary, they are painful to listen to and they make a lot of mistakes. If for some reason they have to stay, put them on sideline commentary.

                              I’m normally a massive fan of Cath Cox. But her biased opinion on the Giants/Lightning game was very annoying.

                              Generally Cox, Sue G, Maddi Browne, Chatfield tend to say it how it is. Off the top of my head, in a preseason game, Chatfield asked the question (to Coxy, I think) why Olivia Wilkinson gets over looked by both Melb teams? Yet at ANL level she dominates. I LOVE that!

                              Dylan is really good, I’d like to see him be lead (if he hasn’t already). In the past I like Geitzy and Ellis. Add in Josie Janz and Medhurst I think they do solid jobs. I really Trumpf commentating too.

                              Green, McMahon (I know she hasn’t done it in a while) and Finnan I struggle to listen to. Green isn’t as bad, but they either take too long to explain or get tongue-tied.

                              Like most have said, SFB is soo good!

                                It’s only my opinion but if you want to listen to a painful one, it’s LA. Was watching a game last night when she was commentating, drove me insane
