              Just looking for clarification but is Chelsea pitman now out for the giants permanently? As she is a temporary replacement player I didn’t think she’d have the same flexibility as the new 11th player system.
              Surely giants have to be concerned being the only team to have not named an 11th player and having only one WA who is returning from injury.

                      A fast open first quarter. Firebirds started well, but gradually Lightning took over with the Diamonds trio of Koenen, Fretwell & Watson proving very hard to stop.

                            Agreed. She really doesn’t look happy with Firebirds.

                            How good to see Lightning connecting finally, and without Bruce. So good to see Ervin making her mark.

                              After looking in control up by 9, Lightning let things slip somewhat in that second Q against a spirited Firebirds team who went on an 8-3 run in the Power 5.

                                  Is Dunkley injured? I think they need her. Ervin is eating up every feed coming in right now.
