            Lots of nerves, fumbles and poor passes being thrown. Halfway through the first Q and already 5 turnovers against Vixens as Thunderbirds lead 8-4.

                Lauren Frew is having a good game so far, Vixens defence paying so much attention to Romelda and none to her and she’s getting them over and over again on the front cut.

                    Thunderbirds took control early with Vixens coughing up too much ball. Lots of cross-court passes being picked off by Tbirds. 3 super shots from Austin keeping Vixens in it.

                    Penalties: VIX 17-12

                      There is a short pass rule (of course) but it’s been called extremely randomly through the season.

                          After that quarter all Simone does is change WA? I would have put Walters on as well but Mundy to C and Moloney to WD, she would give a lot more drive through court there than what they are getting. Sure Mundy had some errors but she was in there having a crack. How is Weston still on? She is being beaten. Eddy at GD would be nice.

                            The Vixens defence has been reshuffled.. Mannix is now GK, Weston GD, Eddy WD.

                            But Tbirds are just dominating this Q so far. It’s one-way traffic. THU 27-16

                                  Total dominance (19-9) from Thunderbirds in that Q. It’s all unravelling for Vixens, saved only by 5 Super shots. The NNP at half time is 273-27 in Tbirds’ favour!!!

                                  Turnovers: VIX 14-7
