I’m always happy to see Maddy Proud in the Diamonds but I would be happier to see them pick Mundy. If not for the Con Cup then at least the South Africa series? I think she’s good enough to make the step up and it’s a good time to start bringing some of the younger players in.

Anstiss will be at Fever as is Stower. Anstiss tipped as captain.

The final shooting spot is between Allen and Beckford pending Allen passing fitness tests etc following her surgery this year.

Fran Williams also there so….

I forgot about Stower. I would pick up both Allen and Beckford over her honestly.

I thought Fever’s team would look worse having lost so many players, but I guess there’s enough talent going around that there are no obviously weak teams anymore.

I wonder if they are possibly looking at Anstiss for the Diamonds? I think she’s quite underrated and could be worth giving her some opportunities and experience as genuine WD/C cover.

I’m a huge Jess Anstiss fan. She is so steady and always available for the back pass. Being able to play C and WD is a great plus for her. Stacey Marinkovich would know her well.
