      If that is what they are after they should sign Ash Barnett or Gabby Coffey.

      You’d imagine Liz Dronfield would be a TP.

        Ash Barnett is a great idea, she was brilliant at ANC. I haven’t seen a lot of Coffey but she also sounds very promising.

          I rate Ruth Aryang very highly. Still very green obviously and coming back from injury but hoping she can get some good experience playing in TGC and a full season as a TP.

            Maybe Barnett will take the last FBs defensive spot?

            It was such a shame for Coffey that she injured her ankle just before ANC and couldn’t play.

              Curveball to think about…where’s Layla Guscoth going to turn up? She’s not re-signed with Storm in the U.K. this year and had a good World Cup in the starting defensive partnership with Mentor. Given Englands strategy seems to be to encourage units to play together at club level to build their connections as much as possible (Cardwell/Glasgow -MAVs, Allison/Carter/Metcalf -Thunder, Rattu/Fudoju/Adio- Pulse, Tchine/Neil/Scholes – Pulse) wouldn’t it make sense to place her on a team with Williams as a new defensive unit? Williams and Guscoth to WCF together? (And yes I know Housby is on her own at Swifts but Housby is Housby… :heart: )

                I’m hoping Dehaney ends up at FBs. Dehaney, Kamo and RBD would be a great defensive end to watch.

                    Dehaney at FB’s would be so good! Her and RBD would be so fun to watch, Pretty sure that she has a done deal with fever though.

                        Oooh I’m not sure…come to think of it she might be taking the season off. Her insta shows she just got married so maybe she’s going to have a breather… either way it will be a shame not to have her talent somewhere in SSN this year

                          I’m pretty sure its been announced in NSL that Gusgoth has taken the year off.

                          Further back it was mentioned maybe Manua for Giants – not sure she’d consider it if offered as she was turned into a bench player for at least one season prior to coming to play ANZ. Mind you, if she wants to play then anything is better than nothing.

                            We’re up to page 41 on here and we haven’t even got one official signing yet. This is crazy. By the way, threads can only go up to page 67 (a maximum of 1000 posts) before they run out and you have to start again!

                              The constant lack of progress and information on the negotiation of the CPA between NA and NPA is becoming embarrassing to the professionalism & integrity of the sport. Regardless of who is not coming to the party, there does not seem to be any concerns the effect it will have on the fan base & sponsors, especially when we are trying to lift the profile of the sport.

                                Layla Guscoth HAS said she’s taking the season off – being a doctor, getting married AND the WNC has got to have taken its toll.

                                Did I miss something or is Bakewell Doran not on the list for a reason?
