I think it’s good the tbirds are giving Lucy a shot at GA, it will help develop her game. With enough experience she can turn into a Thwaites/cardwell.
I really like the makeup of this Tbirds team. I hope she plays the right combinations.

I tend to not take too much from pre season games given teams are generally playing full squads including TPs and combinations are constantly changing or not settling BUT surely the Firebirds scores still have to be concerning?!? They are playing so much and getting well beaten, some huge scores against them.
I can’t see why they agreed to this NZ trip. They’ve been embarrassing and don’t seem to have used the practice time well. What’s the point of the games when you never have your best team on court.
I guess we’ll get a better idea at the TGC, but at this stage, it’s not looking good at all.
