“I would say my vision into the ring and the ability to create space would be my strengths, but it has been awesome to have so much knowledge and experience within the group to really help improve each session.”

Great news for Ruth – have heard such good things about her so hope she gets some court time.
Any word on whether the final Mavericks spot will be Streutker or Jok? I noticed Streutker was playing with Cardwell in the training footage they put on Instagram yesterday.
When we went to Mavs open training the other day, all potential combinations were used with Cardwell – Sinclair (GA) & Jok & Streutker both at GS
.
Since Glasgow was also there (amazing – roughly 6 weeks after surgery) – moving around slowly with a limp but unsupported, I wonder if they will go temporary replacement players on a weekly basis (horses for courses) in the hopes that she is back towards the back end of the season ?The 2 bring very different attributes and both seem to be combining well with the other 2 contracted shooters.
I also wonder whether they will use their TP as the replacement for Lauren Moore & if so which one! Both looked pretty good in training.
At this stage, it looks like Streutker and Grenvold might be the two replacements for Mavs.
Jok has just taken up a nursing position, so it definitely looks that way.
While one of @MelbMavericks' biggest recruits won't be playing in the near future, Sasha Glasgow will still be a huge asset off-court for the new franchise.

Weston most likely out for round 1.
Another calf strain. Said to be caused by a long term ankle joint issue.
I hope Vixens are considering Weston as a genuine GK option. Could be a good way of managing her load. Eddy is very good at GD so they could rotate the circle quite nicely between them and Mannix.
Someone just posted an article, I think it was from code sports stating the 11th player is Jok! Her husband must be an Aussie citizen, and she missed World Cup last cycle so that would make her eligible. I had a feeling they’d choose both of them. Didn’t know how but they did, super exciting!!
Jok being the 11th player isn’t what the rule was bought in for. Not happy with that
