Netball New Zealand refuses to confirm survival of ANZ Premiership teams
Hard for all involved not knowing.
Why Stars’ Australian imports made the move to the New Zealand league
Amorangi Malesala has been contracted to the Pulse as a replacement player for Khiarna Williams who injured her shoulder during the Pre-season tournament. It was the first game of the tournament and against Pulse men. The Magic have now lost one of their Training Partners, she was looking good at Pre-Season too.
I assumed, as did many others here in NZ, that Malesala had turned down a contract with Stars for this year due to her being awarded the Prime Ministers Scholarship to complete her Professional Legal Studies. Thinking I may have been wrong on it, maybe Stars didn’t offer her a contract after her injury filled season last year.
INJURY NEWS: Amorangi Malesala has been contracted to Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse as a replacement player for an injured Khiarna Williams ahead of the ANZ Premiership netball season.
